Vanessa Leamy Corsini is an Argentine tango dancer and teacher currently based in Glasgow.
Originally from Florence, Italy, she trained professionally in ballet from a young age under the tutelage of Cinzia Vannini and Marga Nativo. After flirtations with contemporary dance and flamenco she discovered Argentine tango to be her true calling. She has been studying and developing her dance ever since.
She has been invited to teach tango in Italy, Malta and Ireland. In Glasgow she has worked alongised visiting teachers such as Damian Thomposn, Tomas Corbalan and Diego Denett. She is currently collaborating with Diego Bado.
Since 2016 she has also been the Artistic Director of the Glasgow Tango Collective, a not for profit dance organization focused on promoting Argentine tango in Glasgow.
